Dr. Peffley grew up in Fullerton, California and initially enrolled in the University of Oregon’s Architecture Program. After one year, he decided to take a different direction, changed his major to Psychology and completed his pre-med requirements. He married an Ashland, Oregon native, then whisked her away to Chicago for med school. There, he was commissioned in the United States Navy as a medical officer. Eight years and two deployments later, he and his family (wife, 4 kids and a dog named Steve) settled in Dallas to start Oregon Family Health. A die-hard Duck fan, he still proudly wears Black and Orange in support of the Dallas High School Dragons where he volunteers as the team physician for all sports.
